What the job involves
- As the People & Organization team, we pursue the common mission of inspiring talents to join us and supporting a successful start. For us, the focus is on trust and an open and appreciative approach
- With your active sourcing activities, you are responsible for the identification, selection, and targeted approach of candidates
- You review incoming applications, make the first screening decision and coordinate with the departments for selection
- You manage the entire interview process - planning and conducting interviews, evaluating with all parties involved and making offer decisions (talent management tool: Personio)
- You measure and report the success of recruiting and active sourcing activities using appropriate KPIs
- You follow trends in recruiting and active sourcing and continuously develop applicant management together with your team
- With your commitment, you contribute significantly to the growth and development of a scaling clean tech company
- The fast-moving changes in the (tech) talent market and in the working world in general are an exciting challenge for you. We are looking for a parental leave coverage

Our take
As the world transitions to sustainable energy, millions of new wind energy systems are being integrated into power grids. As well as the number of new consumer solutions, such as electric charging stations is also rapidly increasing, and the integration of these new systems is putting a strain on distribution grids.
Envelio is a cloud-based smart grid platform providing a solution to this challenge. The Cologne-based company has developed the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP), a software assistance system that transforms power grids into digital, flexible interactive smart grids. Through IGP grid operation management can be carried out digitally at a quicker, more cost-effective pace.
Born out of the Institute of High Voltage Technology at the RWTH Aachen, Envelio has since grown a steady customer base for itself and expanded on an international scale. Recognised as a clean-tech software company, Envelio is driving the change to sustainable energy.

With a background in Renewable Energy Management and DSO working experience, Marc joined envelio in 2020. From Project Engineer to Software Engineer, he now leads the Data Integration Squad.
Betty joined envelio in 2022 as a Product Management Intern, became a Product Manager, and in 2025 switched to Software Engineering. She is an active member and contact person for the D&I Group.
