Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, detailed understanding of user experience, and the ability to create visually stunning and functional websites
- Figma super user
- Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role in a digital agency or in-house team
- Strong portfolio showcasing your web design skills, including layout design, UI/UX, and branding
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-device compatibility
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- We are looking for a talented creative Web Designer to join our team
- As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining website layouts and interfaces, ensuring they are user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with our brand identity
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and marketing teams, to design visually appealing and functional websites
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new website designs
- Design and implement user interfaces, ensuring a smooth, intuitive user experience
- Develop responsive designs that are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible
- Optimise websites for speed, SEO, and performance
- Maintain consistency in design across various platforms and devices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies
- Ensure designs align with branding and marketing strategies
- Troubleshoot design issues and provide creative solutions
- Participate in regular design reviews and collaborate with the development team to ensure successful implementation

The company launched a follow-up device called Nothing Ear in 2024, a wireless headphone with Chat GPT integrations. If this is as well received as its predecessor then Nothing could grow into a household name.
