Company mission

To level the playing field for businesses of all sizes by creating a reliable and understandable platform.

Role

Who you are

  • A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with programming languages including Javascript (React), Python, and Go
  • Experience with RDBMS such as Postgres and Clickhouse
  • Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, ECS, S3, Batch, Lambda
  • Experience with scalable systems, large-scale data processing, ETL pipelines, and microservices
  • Experience with Github, Slack, JIRA, and Confluence

What the job involves

  • You’ll join our Audiences & Identity team reporting to the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering, working on features that help our customers find and engage the right people with advertising
  • These features include a cross device graph, a variety of attribute and event datasets, large-scale segmentation pipelines, and frontend pages that enable our customers to create and monitor these audiences
  • As a member of a full-stack development team, you will work side by side with product managers and designers to deliver a customer-focused advertising platform in a highly agile and iterative environment
  • Engineers are treated as equal partners in the process and have a crucial role in contributing not just code but also an opinion on usability and user interaction
  • You’ll work in a small team but have the options to play with the latest tech, learn new skills, sharpen your existing ones, and make a difference at a company that values the journey and collaboration in building software just as much as it values the output
  • Help design and shape the architecture of an evolving product
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to develop customer-focused features: user interfaces, dashboards, and the services that power them
  • Assist and mentor junior engineers on the team
  • Tackle some of the most challenging problems in high-performance, scalable analytics
  • Help drive the future of our Audience & Identity solutions

Our take

NextRoll is a marketing technology company consisting of two business units, AdRoll and RollWorks. Aiming to provide a reliable and easy-to-use platform, it allows both B2C and B2B companies to manage their marketing and advertising campaigns within a single software suite.

NextRoll isn't alone in the MarTech space and is facing intense competition from major players such as Klaviyo, Criteo and Google's marketing platform. That said, the company is more than holding its own, picking up high profile customers such as Oracle and Personify and winning a number of industry recognitions.

One reason for this is its access to an unparalleled amount of data, which its machine learning algorithms use to produce over 150 billion buyer predictions daily. This gives it a major edge over the competition, and its strong position has attracted a high degree of investment. This will enable it to maintain its momentum as it continues to develop and grow.
