HR and Operations Generalist, Mashgin

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Ops, or an HR Generalist role, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
• International Exposure: Familiarity with managing international contractors or employees through EOR platforms (e.g., Deel, Remote, or Rippling)
• Detail Orientation: An almost obsessive attention to detail. You pride yourself on catching the small things that others miss
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can explain complex benefit plans or policy updates in a way that is easy to understand

• We are looking for an HR and Operations Generalist who will serve as the "connective tissue" of our People function
• In this role, you won't just be checking boxes; you will be the guardian of the employee experience, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks from the moment a candidate signs their offer letter to their last day at the company

• The Compliance Guardian: Maintain and update the Employee Handbook and company policies. You’ll keep a pulse on labor laws and compliance tracking to ensure we are protected as we scale
• Employee Support: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and general company policies. You’ll be the friendly face of HR that people turn to for help
• Manager Enablement: Partner with managers to navigate employee lifecycle events, including leaves of absence, promotions, and internal transfers, providing the administrative and tactical support they need to lead effectively
• Process Optimization: Constantly look for ways to automate or improve our internal People processes. Whether it’s streamlining our HRIS data or improving our benefits enrollment flow, you’re always looking for a better way
