What the job involves
- G2’s Intern Program is back for its 6th amazing summer
- You’ll work closely with leaders and peers throughout the 10 weeks- focusing on making a real impact on G2, with a final presentation about your work to our Executive & Senior Leadership Teams
- We’ve packed the summer full of professional development and social events to lay the foundation for your career, ensuring you’ll have a balanced experience over the course of the 10 weeks
- As a member of G2’s Summer Internship Program, you will have the opportunity to join an exciting team, complete a variety of projects, and participate in professional development events. You’ll work closely with our Business Development team on several initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Building Outbound Sales Messaging
- Supporting Go-to-Market Activities, Including Direct Customer Outreach
- Maintaining Salesforce.com Account Data Integrity
- Participating in G2 Onboarding to Identify Areas of Improvement
- Data Integrity: Update CRM Target Account Contacts and Account Information
- Outbound Prospecting: Learn How to Build and Send Email Flows to Prospective Customers
- Onboarding Feedback: Complete G2’s Onboarding Training and Deliver Feedback for Improvement
- Shadowing: Spend Time Learning more about G2's Roles throughout the business and How We Succeed Together
- Sales Strategy: Learn How Deals Move Along a Typical Sales Cycle

Its rise emphasises just how fragmented and competitive the market is for business software today, and how a company that provides a way to navigate through all the confusion has a very good shot at building a lucrative business.
The company is part of a large group that has sprung up online to provide reviews and competitive analysis of various software products. However, unlike many others, G2 doesn't use an affiliate revenue model, where revenue is earned through advertisements and clicks. G2 instead uses a similar model to Glassdoor, striving for authenticity and credibility.
This approach has seen the site rise in popularity as it delivers reviews and analytics to make navigating the software landscape less complex for businesses and their teams.
