Who you are

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Proven experience in applying NLP models to real-world problems and deploying machine learning models in production environments
Solid understanding of deep learning architectures, algorithms, and techniques, including transformers and other models used in Generative AI. Experience with Llama/ChatGPT APIs is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong background in NLP or CV research, with a track record of publications in top-tier conferences or journals
Proficiency in Python programming with experience in relevant NLP packages such as NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, and others

What the job involves

You’ll develop advanced machine learning models and algorithms to power our business
This includes customer-facing AI solutions and predictive analytics
You’ll also build internal tools to improve our data pipeline, model deployment, and monitoring systems, using cloud-based deployments on AWS and automated testing protocols
Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models with a focus on NLP and CV applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve challenging real-world problems using state-of-the-art NLP techniques
Conduct research to advance the state of the art in NLP and CV, and apply findings to enhance our products and services
Mentor junior engineers and researchers, providing guidance on best practices in machine learning and software development
Optimize and scale machine learning models for production environments
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, NLP, and CV, and integrate relevant technologies into our projects

Our take

As electric and autonomous vehicles become more prevalent, Kinetic is looking to support this mobility transformation with tech-enabled vehicle servicing.

The company operates a network of service centers that deliver digital maintenance and servicing for EVs and AVs. The centers are manned by certified technicians and powered by Kinetic's own AI, computer vision and robotics technology.

As cars become more software-reliant, vehicle repair needs a change - and Kinetic's solution certainly has the potential to shake things up. The company has raised substantial funds that will allow it to expand to meet the growing demand for EV and AV digital maintenance and servicing and support its newly launched Las Vegas hub.
