Data Engineering Manager, Omnidian

• Data Engineering Expertise: You have in-depth knowledge of Data Engineering processes and standards

• 5+ years experience as a Data Engineer
• 3+ years experience as a people manager
• Experience successfully managing large scale data engineering projects
• Proficiency with distributed systems like Spark, Kafka and data lakes
• Experience working with time series and IoT data
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Understanding of data modeling principles
• Proficiency with object oriented programming languages such as Python
• Comfortable with SQL

• We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Manager to drive our Data Engineering efforts
• You will lead a cross functional team of Data Engineers (a mix of direct and dotted-line reports), own, enhance and update Data Engineering processes and standards, understand company needs, and own and execute critical projects on our Data Engineering roadmap
• This role sits within our Engineering department and will report directly to our Director of Data Management and Information Security
