One of the leading hacker ecosystems, DoraHacks has connected more than 300,000 hackers and developers around the world. Utilising rolling incentives - or “bounties” - for collaboration in resolving business's tech issues, DoraHacks represents an organic and near limitless community and recruitment platform.
And with the organic nature of DoraHacks comes a near limitless realm of possibilities. In 2022, a Series B of $20 million dollars emboldened DoraHacks to up the scale and pace of their Hackathons and recruitment drives, though will limit them to working only through public blockchain company Cardano.
Cardano is a better partnership for DoraHack’s mission for hacker decentralisation than Ethereum, the blockchain’s direct competitor, due to its dual layer flexibility. With other backers including Binance Labs, FTX, and Circle Ventures, DoraHacks is set to propel into the future, especially as they start tackling the new frontiers of Web3.
