Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of experience managing and closing enterprise software sales
- Success in long, consultative sales cycles (6+ months)
- Industry expertise or strong familiarity with insurance
- A relationship-first approach with clients and internal teams
- Outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-paced startup environment
- Willingness to travel 40–50% of the time to build and sustain client relationships

What the job involves
- Hi Marley is growing fast—and we're looking for a strategic, driven Senior Client Executive to join our team
- This role is ideal for someone with a proven ability to close complex enterprise software deals, particularly within highly regulated industries like insurance and finance
- You’ll manage full sales cycles, engage top-tier enterprise accounts, and showcase the unique value of Hi Marley’s solutions to C-level executives
- You’ll collaborate cross-functionally and play a key role in driving our growth
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to close
- Consistently generate and develop new business opportunities
- Strategically coordinate internal and external resources to drive deals forward
- Maintain accurate and timely pipeline updates, account plans, and activity tracking
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets
- Educate clients on the value of Hi Marley’s platform for both their teams and their customers
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Partner with the Customer Success team to maximize value delivery and client adoption
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and evolving market conditions
- Collaborate with peers to develop strategic account and prospecting approaches
- Demonstrate deep industry knowledge and become a trusted advisor in the insurance space
- Provide regular strategic insights to help grow and optimize the sales pipeline
- Represent Hi Marley at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness
- Keep detailed records of account and opportunity data in Salesforce (SFDC)

The insurance industry can be notoriously frustrating for policyholders during the claims process, with a reported 40% of people considering a switch of insurers following a claim. This is the outcome that Hi Marley wants to help carriers avoid.
The company uses an AI-enabled communication platform designed to allow insurance carriers and their partners to talk to policyholders in real time via simple text messaging. This ultimately gives carriers more opportunities to satisfy and retain their customers.
Hi Marley has enjoyed rapid in recent years, with a quadrupling of its user base.
