What the job involves
- Design, develop, and deploy new experiences, improve existing products, and develop distributed software systems powering the world’s largest e-Commerce websites at scale
- Build and implement robust and scalable software, code services, and system architecture
- Gather and understand End-User requirements, formulate use cases, and deliver results
- Convert abstract concepts into viable products
- Estimate Engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and supply ideas to eBay’s technology and algorithms
- Aggregate information from various places and build relationships with key partners to gather information
- Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance
- 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
