Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in project management within banking, crypto, or SaaS enterprises
- Strong technical knowledge in enterprise software, APIs, and cloud solutions
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in blockchain or digital assets is an advantage
- Professional proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is an advantage, given clients across Latin America
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong leadership and ability to influence teams without direct authority
- Passion for innovation and emerging technologies in digital finance
What the job involves
- Our Professional Services team is the delivery engine behind every successful customer implementation. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects in the digital assets and blockchain space across the Americas, spanning North America and Latin America
- This role is responsible for driving project execution, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams, and delivering high-impact solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in banking, cryptocurrency, or large SaaS enterprises, with solid technical knowledge and a deep understanding of enterprise software implementations
- Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, aligning them with business objectives
- Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and customer success
- Coordinate delivery across clients and teams operating in multiple time zones throughout the Americas
- Communicate project status, risks, and progress effectively to executive leadership and clients
- Leverage technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams
- Understand enterprise software, APIs, and cloud solutions to ensure smooth project implementation
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in banking, crypto, and financial infrastructure
Our take
The derivatives market has always been attractive for larger investors, but some of the hurdles to overcome are capital efficiency, custody and security. Fireblocks allows for the trading of derivatives on any asset, using any form of collateral while receiving cross-margin benefits across counterparties. Essentially, it enables institutional traders to move digital assets without the operational or security headache.
Fireblocks is banking on assets like cryptocurrencies becoming a new part of the mainstream trade of financial institutions. Although cryptocurrencies are known for being notoriously unstable, when traded properly they can be hugely profitable. So, in a safer landscape, there is a lot of incentive for new participants.
Basically, by raising security standards, a new crop of institutional entities is able to set up shop in the crypto world. This means more business for Fireblocks, and a stabler market which then attracts even more interested parties. The company continues to develop its offering, for example through the recent acquisition of TRES which enables it to deliver the first complete operating system for digital assets.
