2+ years experience leading a team
5+ years of overall development experience in TypeScript, Python, Go, Ruby on Rails, or other programming languages
Deep proficiency with web application development and SaaS
Experience planning and leading development efforts on large projects
Previous experience leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent execution
Previous experience in a service-oriented architecture; bonus if you have experience migrating a monolith application into services
You are an excellent communicator who can succinctly explain deep technical concepts
Experience leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Previous experience working within a balanced engineering and product team
Experience with MVC frameworks for backend development
Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who has a strong background in people management, technical strategy and execution, and the ability to help grow our organization
You will work directly with the Senior Director of Engineering in our Meeting Intelligence group, and will be helping the company realize its vision of becoming a multi-product suite offering

Ensure the career development, satisfaction, and productivity of the engineers on your team

Our take

Calendly is a cloud-based scheduling service that is straightforward to use. It allows around 10 million customers per month to connect and make appointments based on their available times without having to send emails back and forth.

The platform offers four different plans - allowing individuals, small companies, and large enterprises alike to make use of these services. Calendly's growth to date been based mostly around a very organic strategy. Its invites become links to Calendly itself, so people who like it can, and do, start to use it.

There are a handful of competing products on the market, including offerings from Doodle and Microsoft, but Calendly's customer-friendly design has won it attention and allowed it to carve itself a space in the field. Impressive funding has contributed to the company's expansion, allowing it to capitalize on the increasing popularity of home and hybrid working.
