Role
Who you are
- 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally involving a highly complex, technical product
- Industry Experience: Significant work experience within the AI ecosystem or related data/infrastructure field (e.g. deep-tech, AI application layer, cloud provider)
- Education: Excellent academic background with a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Startup Experience: Experience at a successful, fast-growing startup, ideally in deep-tech
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills to quickly understand and navigate evolving products and steer technical discussions
- Language Skills: Fluent French & excellent English proficiency; additional language (e.g. Italian, Spanish) are a bonus
- Soft Skills: Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
What the job involves
- As an Account Executive in our Commercial France team, you will play a crucial role in driving Mistral's adoption among digital natives (tech startups, scale-ups and unicorns) as well as more traditional mid-market sized companies in France and southern Europe
- You will manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals and beyond, working closely with our solutions, product, finance and legal team
- Conduct strategic outreach and warm introductions to various companies
- Convert inbound leads and product-led customers into upselling or more bespoke agreements
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to clients during the Proof of Concept (POC) phase to ensure a smooth and successful evaluation process
- Leverage successful POC outcomes to convert them into long-term, revenue-generating contracts
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to convert leads into valued customers. You will be the primary contact for external stakeholders and responsible for managing deals and aligning all stakeholders
- Handle customer negotiations end-to-end with the support of our legal and finance team
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, heads of innovation/AI, and other key decision-makers within target organisations
- Understand their specific challenges and needs, positioning Mistral's solution as an integral part of their strategic initiatives
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical intricacies of Mistral's product and effectively articulate its value proposition to potential clients
- Work closely with our solution and product team to address customer questions, concerns, and challenges during pre-sales, deployment, and post-deployment phases
