Who you are
- You are inspired by cooking and telling stories around it
- You have a natural affinity for social media and gained at least 3 years of professional experience in social media management
- You are an expert on Instagram and have already gained professional insights regarding current KPIs and strategies
- You can prove extensive experience with all standard social media tools, analytics and data mining
- You are an excellent writer (in both, German and English) who loves to play with words and are used to creating a variety of short copy
- You have a keen understanding of digital storytelling and always an ear and eye open for relevant social media trends
- You describe yourself as a dynamic and pro-active team player who is experienced in managing different projects at once
- You natively speak German and feel comfortable communicating in English on a professional level
What the job involves
- Our Creative & Marketing Team, who brings our content to life, is made up of editors, designers, photographers, video producers, chefs and SEO managers
- As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in telling and spreading our stories
- As Social Media Manager at Kitchen Stories, you will create compelling and engaging social media content with the goal of fostering growth and engagement within our community
- You will take over responsibility for content planning and implementation across different platforms, with a focus on Instagram
- Working closely with our Creative and Partnerships team, you will contribute to the conceptualization and execution of successful campaigns, for both our own brand and our partners
- In order to enforce quality and consistency across our social channels, you will be responsible for monitoring our social media KPIs

For many people today, finding and cooking fresh and exciting recipes can seem inaccessible. Kitchen Stories solves this problem with its interactive cookery app and website.
Compared to user-generated recipe sites, Kitchen Stories has maintained a strong focus on creating high-quality content. What's more, it allows users to find recipes based on the ingredients they already have. The company has scaled rapidly since its launch, and now boasts a database of around 11 million recipes.
Kitchen Stories's main challenge will be competing with other content-based recipe apps and websites, including UK-based Mob. However, its personalized approach and interactive recipes will ensure that Kitchen Stories can continue to differentiate itself from its rivals, and scale its customer base.
