What the job involves
- Builder role
- We’re looking for driven Account Executives to fuel our U.S. expansion in California — a state undergoing a major math curriculum adoption, as nearly every district prepares to choose new programs for the coming years
- You’ll own relationships with district leaders, lead consultative first meetings, and partner with senior leaders and math experts to close transformational deals
- Success here isn’t about maintaining accounts — it’s about hunting, building pipeline, and driving new revenue
- Prospect relentlessly: Generate new district relationships through outbound outreach, creative approaches, and local presence
- Run first meetings: Lead consultative conversations that uncover needs and spark excitement about a new approach to math
- Team up to close: Partner with senior sales leaders and Math Success Managers to move the funnel forward and secure partnerships
- Show up everywhere: Represent Innovamat at conferences, host local events, and expand visibility in your territory
- Own your number: Build and execute a personal plan to exceed your goals
Our take
Despite its immense importance, the education space has been slow to evolve, with much of teaching still relying on knowledge-first, memory-based curricula. Innovamat sets out to change this, with a maths curriculum focused on collaboration, discussion, and investigation, delivered through the Innovamat App and its classroom management platform.
Innovamat's resources enable teachers to deliver sequenced sessions, running all the way from infant to secondary - all from one platform. The app provides self-adaptive practice and progress reports, tuned to the pace of each student, and the company also supplies complementary materials for hands-on learning. In addition, it also provides teacher training resources to ensure all staff are able to deliver the curriculum to their best ability.
With a presence established in Catalonia and Latin America, the company is now looking towards further geographical expansion, particularly in the US and Italy. Innovamat has raised impressive funding that will accelerate research and development, support this new expansion, and allow it to reach even more students, atop the 210,000 already learning through its curriculum.
