- Have experience with creating the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a platform UI team, ensuring it supports the evolving needs of multiple products
- Have demonstrable expertise in leading the creation of a robust, well-documented component library that enforces consistent design standards, achieves high unit test coverage, and integrates accessibility best practices - ensuring high-quality UI patterns are consistently applied across all products
- Have experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that components are accessible, responsive, and aligned with organizational standards and priorities
- Have exposure to the observability space, whether as a user of observability technologies or building/extending observability tools
- Have direct experience building applications on a recent version of React, JavaScript, C++ – bonus points if you have personal experience with TypeScript!
- Be an excellent communicator in both written and verbal English
- Have a BS and MS, or equivalent practical experience; 10+ years of industry experience, including at least 4 years in a technical leadership role

- Cribl Inc is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a new, remote-first, diverse, inclusive, cross-functional team of software developers focused on building components that can be used across Cribl products, as we execute on our mission to unlock the value of all observability data
- As a Platform UI Engineering Manager you will be leading a team dedicated to building a robust and scalable component library which can support the front-end platform that powers the user interfaces of all our organization's products
- This role combines strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and people leadership. You will be responsible for guiding the team as they develop a unified component library, ensure a consistent look and feel across our suite of applications, and establish best-in-class frontend standards that elevate both developer productivity and user experience
- Building, coaching, mentoring, and growing a cross-functional scrum team of exceptional engineers who excel at building scalable, extensible, maintainable, performant distributed data processing systems
- Setting and maintaining the bar for technical excellence in product development with focus on design, robustness, and quality of code. Maintaining consistency with Cribl's existing role, leveling, and SDLC policies / processes
- Leading the team in the definition, design, testing, implementation, support, and maintenance of your portion of the Cribl UI stack
- Fostering a "customer first" mindset by aligning your team's effort with customer delight
- Establishing a strong partnership with product management and product operations team members to refine, prioritize, and execute against the team’s roadmap

In a bid to simplify big data analytics, Cribl offers a data observability pipeline which allows users to reduce low value data, improve routing and gain more data context on one interface.
As companies now collect more and more data from frequently scattered sources, its useability and reliability comes into question. By offering an observability service, Cribl allows users to maintain the health of their data systems by monitoring, tracking and troubleshooting issues.
Cribl's main challenge will be competing with the likes of Observe and Edge Delta. However, Cribl has raised impressive funds that should accelerate its transition from a limited tool vendor to a fully-fledged observability suite. The company also boasts surpassing $100 million in annual recurring revenue, having grown this from $1 million in less than four years.
