Who you are
- MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred; Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or accounting, or equivalent experience required
- 6+ years of strong analytical experience in a financial planning or business analysis role
- Advanced Excel skills are required
- Advanced PowerPoint skills are required
- Experience in a software or SaaS environment is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization, including Executive Leadership Team
- Can-do attitude and ability to positively implement change

What the job involves
- The Senior Financial Analyst is a key position that will work closely with the SVP of FP&A, Director of FP&A, and other key department leaders to create, define, implement, evolve, and report on Zoominfo’s key metrics and processes, ranging from budget building to results reporting and everything in between
- We’ll be looking for you to identify trends, drive monthly review meetings, and make recommendations on what we can do to improve and execute better going forward
- You’ll play a key role in creating and updating our budgets and forecasts, analyzing company performance, and working on special projects from the CEO, CFO, and the Board
- This is a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, superb analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with others at the company

- Assist in preparing the annual budget and monthly forecasts
- Build and maintain financial models that support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and strategic decision making
- Apply experience working with financial statements to develop and fine-tune P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow modeling
- Build or enhance financial models related to aspects of our business including workforce, technology, facilities, cloud hosting, and other operating expenses
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing financial guidance on business initiatives, investments, and cost optimization
- Support HR and Operations with workforce planning, compensation modeling, and productivity analysis, ensuring accurate financial planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases, ROI, and resource allocation decisions
- Create and enhance dashboards for executive leaders and their teams, including identifying key metrics and creating outputs to show trends and anomalies
- Collaborate with cross-functional organizations to identify and solve business problems
- Develop and run a regular cadence for reviewing financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, KPIs, dashboards and results with each team, including deep dive reviews, insights, and recommendations
- Analyze trends in margin, labor, operating expenses, and other financial metrics
- Take on a wide array of special projects and succinctly communicate the results to an executive audience
- Proactively identify opportunities for change, process improvement, and system enhancements
- Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting frameworks to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability
- Support implementation or optimization of financial systems while maintaining strong data governance practices
