- 7+ years of experience in sales compensation design and management
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of driving complex initiatives to successful completion
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and G Suite, with the ability to leverage these tools to streamline processes and workflows
- Familiarity with basic Revenue Accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and anticipate future needs and challenges

What the job involves
- Reddit’s Finance team is seeking a Sales Compensation Manager who will report directly to the Strategic Finance Team and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing effective sales compensation programs
- The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our sales compensation plans drive optimal performance, align with organizational goals, and attract and retain top talent in our sales force
- Responsible for developing, administering and overseeing a world class sales incentive compensation program
- Lead change management processes, assessing system-wide impacts of decisions and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and long-term strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to develop, reassess, and implement the compensation program for all sales channels
- Program manage and lead the ongoing evolution of compensation plans, facilitating year-over-year changes with a focus on long-term vision and impact assessment
- Project manage the year-over-year compensation change process, driving workflows across multiple stakeholders to successful completion
- Benchmark competitive practices to ensure sales plans drive results and help attract and retain key sales talent
- Work closely with sales leadership to understand commissionable roles and their go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment of compensation plans with business objectives
- Cultivate and utilize a deep understanding of the company's key strategic goals to propose, revise, and implement compensation plans that are effective, operational, and fiscally responsible
- Develop scalable processes and automation solutions to support the company's growth and optimize compensation operations
- Define and build operational guidelines around commission metrics, ensuring clarity and consistency in measurement and reporting
