Company mission

We’re on a mission. And it’s money without borders. Instant, convenient, transparent and — eventually — free.

Role

Who you are

  • You will have a comprehensive understanding of Google Ads and YouTube’s advertising solutions, as well as excellent communication and project management skills
  • Have experience running large, successful performance driven YouTube ad campaigns for a fast-growing business or agency, ideally across multiple markets and languages. Any experience with creative asset making is a bonus
  • Are a team player with strong communication skills to help coach and drive others to become better at what they do
  • Put the customer first, always. It’s pointless to run advertising unless you understand how you’re helping the end user
  • Have a strong analytical mindset. This means being very comfortable and confident in gathering actionable insights from data
  • You are able to make autonomous decisions - You’ll have the autonomy to use what you know and learn to prioritise, take decisive actions and execute freely with the goal of consistently improving performance
  • You are passionate about digital marketing and know what levers to pull when optimising a campaign against specific KPIs
  • Have experience running app, display and/or video ads on Google Ads
  • Have experience running programmatic mobile, display and/or video ads on a DSP
  • Are proactive and able to prioritise projects on impact, with a low level of supervision

Desirable

  • YouTube Ads Certified
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and platforms
  • Experience with Looker, Tableau or a similar data visualisation tool
  • Experience running programmatic activity
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business

What the job involves

  • This is an all-round, hands-on performance marketing role — you’ll be building, scaling, and executing YouTube and programmatic campaigns, using your strategic, data analytics and creative skills to efficiently optimise multiple accounts and drive growth globally
  • Develop and implement insightful strategies that address and solve complex business needs
  • Manage large-scale projects and ensure timely delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build the best in-class YouTube campaigns for any stage of the funnel
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide data-driven insights to optimise ad spend and improve ROI
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest YouTube Ads features and best practices
  • Own global YouTube campaign performance in line with growth goals
  • Evaluate creative performance and work with our Creative team to produce best-in-class ad content to get the Wise story out there
  • Improve campaign efficiency, owning the A/B testing process across landing pages, creatives, ad copy and more
  • Creation and maintenance of reporting dashboards and weekly/monthly reports, along with contributing to wider team-based plans, presentations, and updates
  • Make full use of automation solutions available, implementing processes and practices that maximise operational efficiencies whilst identifying opportunities for process improvement, and providing recommendations
  • Work closely with analysts to spot issues with data as well as opportunities to improve campaign performance
  • Work with other Performance Marketing channels to share insights and learnings to help maximise performance of campaigns and potentially uncover new opportunities

Our take

Wise started when the two founders realised they would be better off trading Estonian kroons for British pounds (and vice versa) between themselves rather than going through banks. That was back in 2011, and they've since grown Wise into one of Europe's most successful tech businesses, exchanging billions of currency every month.

Wise rapidly grew by solving a significant problem for customers, who lost too much money to banks when exchanging currency. They've attracted investment from some of the best investors in the world, from Andreesen Horowitz to Index Ventures and even Richard Branson.

The challenge for Wise will be maintaining their edge and brand power in a market that's becoming increasingly crowded with new entrants (like Revolut and Monzo) and incumbents (traditional banks) trying to catch up. To do so, the company is ramping up its digital and marketing strategies, as well as pushing for further development of its existing products.
