Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of digital ad sales experience. Data or Ad Tech experience required
- Experience working with HoldCo agencies
- Demonstrable success in programmatic media sales or data sales
- A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously without daily supervision
- Exceptional prospecting, objection handling, and negotiating skills
- Commitment to thorough preparation and disciplined organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills & presentation skills
- Location: New York required, with a willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients
- Adaptable to change and consistently able to deliver exceptional results with limited guidance
- Good time-management, prioritization, and multitasking skills and abilities
What the job involves
- As an Account Executive at Dstillery, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth across your respective clients
- In this role, you will focus on developing and nurturing client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and providing customized advertising solutions that align with our cutting-edge offerings
- We seek a forward-thinking and proactive candidate ready to embrace challenges and drive success
- Execute high-volume, strategic prospecting through targeted email and phone outreach to generate qualified sales opportunities
- Articulate Dstillery’s value proposition to HoldCo agencies and direct marketers, establishing credibility as a trusted advisor
- Lead consultative discovery sessions to uncover complex client needs and architect tailored solutions from Dstillery's product suite
- Accelerate business acquisition and maximize revenue growth by converting prospective accounts into long-term partnerships
- Orchestrate the complete end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring seamless progression from initial qualification to final deal closure
- Cultivate and nurture strategic, high-value relationships with key decision-makers across agencies and brands
- Spearhead the promotion and adoption of Dstillery’s programmatic and social advertising solutions to drive measurable revenue expansion
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to consistently provide data-driven insights
Our take
Targeting digital advertising campaigns to the right audience has historically required the use of cookies, but the privacy issues associated with them have led to many businesses seeking alternative data sources. Whilst anonymous proprietary data can be leveraged to provide an alternative to cookies, it can be difficult to access and build audiences out of such data without the right AI-driven analysis tools and data infrastructure.
Dstillery provides AI-driven audience building tools for businesses who seek to leverage first-party, geospatial, behavioural, and demographic data as an alternative to cookies to build high-performing programmatic digital advertising campaigns. In addition to AI-driven audience modelling technology, the company also offers pre-built audiences for clients who already understand the audiences they want to reach.
Although the AI tools and datasets required for cookieless ad targeting already exist, navigating them is difficult, and Dstillery has been smart to recognize this. By unifying such solutions into self-serve and managed platforms, the company is facilitating its clients to benefit from anonymous data without requiring infrastructure to analyze and manually build audiences from it.
