• We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join the Creators team to help shape the future of Poe, our rapidly growing AI product
• In this role, you'll work at the forefront of the AI ecosystem to empower bot creators and developers
• You’ll build abstractions and tooling to accelerate bot onboarding, collaborate directly with leading LLM providers to integrate their latest advancements, and improve our external API to support a thriving developer ecosystem
• This is a high-impact role with direct visibility into how creators build and scale on Poe
• As a senior engineer, you’ll drive feature planning and backend implementation, while contributing to a fast-paced, cross-functional product cycle
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (design, product, data science, QA, and engineering) to advise on product roadmap and create innovative features and user experiences for bot creators
• Iterate on our developer APIs using best practices for performance and reliability
• Be a champion for both user experience and for sustainable, scalable code practices
• Collaborate closely with LLM providers to easily integrate new LLMs on Poe
• Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure Poe provides a reliable and high quality product
