Who you are
- Worked in a customer-facing role and know how to build strong client relationships

What the job involves
- Reporting to: Senior Manager, Sales Engineering
- As a Sales Engineer at hyperexponential, you’ll be key to helping our customers fall in love with hx Renew
- You’ll become a trusted advisor who builds deep relationships with prospects, earns their trust, and turns them into long-term partners
- You’ll be the expert everyone turns to – you know hx Renew inside-out, and you’re always pushing its limits to find innovative solutions
- You’ll leverage your deep knowledge of the insurance industry to show customers exactly what’s possible (and sometimes, the impossible)
- But it doesn’t stop there
- You’ll collaborate with teams across the company – from Sales to Product to Marketing – and actively engage in building the local tech community
- You’ll be joining forces with actuaries, developers, and other industry experts to host meetups, webinars, and conferences, and create an amazing network right here in New York
- This is a dynamic role with a ton of growth potential
- We’re scaling fast, and so is the impact you’ll have in shaping the future of our product and the market
- Help shape hx Renew’s demo and proof of concept (POC) offerings for the US market
- Build reusable sales assets (like interactive demos and template models) that streamline the sales process
- Deliver engaging product demos tailored to key personas like actuaries, underwriters, and IT professionals
- Support the POC process by solving technical challenges and showcasing our platform’s capabilities
- Collaborate with the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to bring new features to market
- Get involved with marketing activities like conferences, webinars, and customer workshops
- Join the growing developer community in New York – host meetups, build connections, and lead the charge for innovation
- Work closely with our UK-based team to share knowledge and best practices
- Assist in preparing RFPs and RFIs for prospects and partners
- Report to the Senior Manager, Sales Engineering, and help us scale our US operations

hyperexponential's pricing and data-driven decision-making software is built for the speciality and commercial insurance markets. The product has broad applications, but the company's initial focus is on speciality insurance, a sector the founders know well, having worked there for more than a decade.
hyperexponential currently works with 13 of the largest insurers in Europe and is growing fast. In addition, the company launched Renew Connect, a partnership programme which offers integrations between all the best-of-breed solutions for insurers like Insurdata and Inari, and ensures the data flows freely and consistently between them.
