Who you are
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically strong, and comfortable operating as a force multiplier for senior partnerships leaders
- Experience in a partner operations, customer operations, revenue operations, or OEM support role, ideally in SaaS or data-driven environments
- Strong comfort working with usage data, reporting, and metrics, with a high bar for accuracy and clarity
- Familiarity with commercial workflows such as contracts, invoicing, renewals, or SLAs (hands-on negotiation not required)
- Proven ability to manage processes end-to-end with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product and GTM teams in fast-moving environments
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication suitable for partner-facing interactions
- High ownership, bias for action, and comfort operating in ambiguity while building structure

What the job involves
- We are seeking a Partnerships Operations Associate to support and scale TRM’s private sector partnerships, with an initial focus on Orion partners
- This role sits at the intersection of partner operations, data accuracy, and go-to-market enablement—ensuring partners are onboarded efficiently, supported with high-quality data and reporting, and managed with strong commercial and operational hygiene
- You’ll work closely with Partnerships leadership, Product, Finance, and GTM teams to ensure partner data, reporting, and contracts are accurate, timely, and scalable
- Own the accuracy and completeness of partner data, including commercial terms, API usage, and reporting cadence
- Produce and deliver regular partner usage reports, proactively resolving discrepancies and ensuring a high bar for data quality
- Support management of existing partner contracts, including usage validation, invoice reconciliation, and coordination with Finance
- Enable partner trust and retention through reliable reporting, early risk identification, and consistent operational follow-through
- Reduce operational burden on senior partnerships leaders by streamlining reporting, admin, and GTM support work
- Surface structured partner feedback and usage insights to Product and Engineering to inform roadmap and improvements
- Help build and refine standardized onboarding, reporting, and operational playbooks to support partner scale
- This role sits within the Strategic Initiatives team, reporting directly to our CEO
- The team is lean, senior, and high trust—characterized by rapid iteration, high agency, and sharp commercial instincts. We work async by default, but rely on crisp documentation and Slack-based collaboration across time zones
- You’ll partner frequently with GTM, Product, Engineering, and Legal/Risk. Most teammates maintain at least a 4-hour overlap with PST hours, though working hours are otherwise flexible
- We prioritize structured thinking, clarity in communication, and a strong bias toward velocity and ownership
- Accelerate partner reporting: Complete the first end-to-end usage reporting cycle for at least one priority partner within 30 days
- Establish scalable operating artifacts: Deliver a standard partner usage report within 21 days, a QBR template within 30 days, and a partner health scoring framework within 60 days
- Enable exec-ready visibility: Produce five executive-ready partner summaries for a priority partner by Day 90, with the ability to deliver an on-demand partner snapshot within 48 hours and maintain a monthly “top 5 partners” view
- This work has teeth. At TRM, your week might include:

Our take
The crypto space has become more mainstream but it is also intensely volatile and poorly regulated, with a high degree of anonymity afforded to its users. As such it has become a major source of financial fraud with $20 billion in crypto stolen in 2022 alone. TRM Lab exists to return trust to the blockchain, helping banks, government agencies and crypto companies detect and combat fraud with its blockchain intelligence solutions.
As the risk of blockchain fraud is only increasing, with the proceeds often being used for organized crime, there are a number of companies working in this space. TRM stands out with the breadth of its crypto asset coverage and the strength of its cross-chain analytics. It has partnered with the FBI and Europol to aid its investigations, and is also used by major crypto companies MoonPay and Binance.
The company has grown its revenue by almost 500% year on year since its founding in 2018, and has raised a significant amount of capital. With the funding its secured, its further developing its product and hiring additional talent. And as businesses and government agencies increasingly come to grips with fraud in the crypto space, TRM is well poised to continue its rapid growth.
