Role
Who you are
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management or another commercial, data-driven role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Ability to turn your insights into compelling stories to generate buy-in from internal and external stakeholders
- A willingness to get into the weeds, proving out hypotheses via manual execution and then building for scale
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience with vacation rentals or hotels is preferred but not essential
What the job involves
- Design and implement comprehensive pricing and promotional strategies that maximise nightly revenue per property
- Perform market research to inform pricing decisions for new and existing listings
- Generate buy-in from homeowners into our pricing strategies via both direct (1-on-1 calls) and indirect (improving onboarding, comms) means
- Oversee and optimise online distribution channels, including Online Travel Agents (OTAs), direct booking platforms, and metasearch engines, to maximize reach and conversion
- Manage and coach a team of internal and external resources (local onboarders, remote listing team, external photographers) to create a well-oiled machine that reliably churns out high-quality listings
- Define and report on key metrics that help us understand revenue performance and address any issues early on
