Role
Who you are
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions Architect to join our technical presales team
- Proven experience in a technical presales, solutions architect, or similar role, ideally within a SaaS or data-focused company
- Strong knowledge of data ingestion, preprocessing, and analysis technologies, particularly in handling unstructured data
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and relevant data processing frameworks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with customers and influence decision-makers
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for designing creative solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events
Desirable
- Experience with AI/ML technologies, natural language processing, or data science
- Familiarity with Python and data integration tools
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes
- Prior experience working in a startup environment is a plus
What the job involves
- This role involves engaging with potential customers to understand their technical challenges, crafting tailored solutions using our products, and guiding them through a successful onboarding process
- You will be the technical expert in sales engagements, bridging the gap between customer needs and our product capabilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify technical opportunities with prospective customers
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs, pain points, and goals
- Design and present customized solutions using Unstructured's products and services, demonstrating how they address the client's specific challenges
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) projects
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospect-s throughout the sales cycle, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development
- Create and maintain technical documentation, such as architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and integration guides
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to position Unstructured.io’s offerings effectively

Unstructured.io is tackling a prevalent challenge in AI adoption - the difficulty of integrating complex, enterprise-sized data with Large Language Models (LLMs).
