Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Senior HR leadership position
- Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements
- Experience overseeing benefits, compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR operations in a global organization
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business results and support organizational growth
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
What the job involves
- We have an exciting opportunity available on our HR team for a Senior Director, Human Resources
- This role is based in the US and reports to the CEO, Connexity, and also partners closely with the Sr
- HR leaders of our parent company, Taboola
- This role will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including US benefits, company compensation review, employee relations, talent acquisition, and culture and people operations across the US in addition to collaboration with our UK, and Germany HR Directors
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with Connexity's business objectives, values, and culture
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- US Benefits Oversight:
- Oversee and manage the Sr. Benefits Manager to design, implement, and administer the employee benefits programs in the US, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulations
- Partner with benefits brokers and vendors to evaluate and enhance benefit offerings based on employee needs and market trends
- Company Compensation Review:
- Lead annual compensation review processes, including salary benchmarking, merit increases, and bonus programs, to ensure alignment with business objectives and market standards
- Analyze compensation data and trends to make informed recommendations to executive leadership
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive and inclusive work environment and mitigate risks
- Global HR Leadership:
- Provide strategic oversight and support to HR Directors in Germany and the UK, ensuring alignment with corporate HR initiatives and objectives
- Collaborate with international HR teams to drive consistency and best practices across regions
- Talent Acquisition:
- Manage and partner with the Talent Acquisition Director to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that attract top talent and support business growth
- Oversee TA efforts and reporting as related to hiring forecasts
- Culture and People Ops Management:
- Provide guidance and support to the Director of Culture and People Ops to drive initiatives related to employee administration, onboarding, and satisfaction
- Lead efforts to enhance company culture, foster diversity and inclusion, and promote employee well-being

Connexity is a marketing technology company that operates an online retail and e-commerce advertising network. Connexity, which was first founded as Shopzilla, offers online sellers and publishers a means of building revenue and finding new customers without having to sell data to big-name advertising and discovery brands, namely Google and Facebook.
Over the years, Connexity has accumulated a number of related businesses, including Become.com, Skimlinks and PriceGrabber. It covers various activities including affiliate links, influencer marketing, in-stream advertising, and shopping search ads. This has led to over 800 million shopping leads, and billions in sales for its customers (particularly impressive as the e-commerce world continues to struggle to keep online consumers' attention). Its customers include Walmart, Wayfair, Skechers, Macy’s, eBay and Otto.
In 2021, Connexity was bought by Taboola for $800M. The company plans to continue extending Connexity's adjacent technologies, allowing for more cross-selling and upselling opportunities. It is also focusing on developing tools that attract and convert ordinary site visitors into browsers and then into shoppers.
