Machine Learning Engineer, Tome

• You have a PhD or comparable industry experience in Machine Learning
• You have 5+ years of industry experience in NLP, with a strong portfolio of model training and fine-tuning projects
• You have a strong understanding of deep learning AI/ML frameworks or cloud services
• You have hands-on ML Ops experience
• You possess deep expertise in NLP and model training, specifically with large language models like Llama-7b, Mistral, and open-source generative text models
• Proven experience in fine-tuning models and adapting open-source generative models for specific use cases, demonstrating a deep understanding of its architecture and capabilities

• The next innovative leap in our journey is adding the latest AI/ML capabilities to Tome's existing magic, with a focus on developing proprietary machine learning models that integrate visual persuasiveness and data-driven narratives
• To enable that, the team is looking to hire an experienced ML Engineer specialized in NLP and large language models to lead our efforts in pioneering AI-driven storytelling experiences, developing Tome's proprietary machine learning models, and crafting our AI/ML strategy
• Tome's AI/ML team will be building front-and-center experiences into the product
• There's much innovative work ahead, from generating images, text, and layouts to enhancing videos to completing AI story creation
• Drive large impact on Tome's growth by shipping magical creation experiences that customers are eager to use
• Craft Tome's AI/ML strategy in tight collaboration with founders and execs
• Pioneer the training of new models that leverage both historical data and synthetic training data
• Help build a world-class AI/ML engineering team by recruiting and mentoring teammates
• Develop prototypes for innovative creation experiences based on generative AI models like GPT-3 and open-source generative text models, and drive development of those into robust product features
• Work closely with product designers to apply AI/ML to create features that delight users and stimulate and augment creators' imagination
