Who you are
- 9-18 months previous experience in a Business Development or Sales role
- Previous experience cold calling/emailing prospective clients required
- Passionate about startups, entrepreneurship, digital and new technologies and be keen to build something new
- Understand new concepts quickly and possess the ability to explain them with ease

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a high energy, ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our awesome go to market team in London
- We want an individual that is highly motivated, super creative, great on the phones and interested in becoming an AE
- You’ll have the support of a fantastic marketing team and great Account Executives who will actively cheer you on and celebrate your success!
- You’ll be responsible for creating a set number of qualified new business opportunities per month
- Partner with Account Executives on the strategic approach to engage our top target accounts
- Use a mix of research, calling, email, and social selling to engage our prospects
- You will work a combination of inbound leads, event leads, nurtured leads and you’ll outbound to our top target accounts (ABM accounts)
- Partner with marketing team to develop creative campaigns to rise above the noise in an email inbox and get the attention of our prospects
- Pay close attention to our vast enablement library to stay sharp on our product differentiators and target personas
- Continually hone your pitch on the phone to better qualify prospects and improve your conversion rate on calls
- Leverage Linkedin in creative ways to engage prospects
- Continually identify new and creative ways to engage prospects using things like gifting, self-recorded videos and other creative tactic
- Understand customer needs and buying cycle to gather key prospect information, generate interest and bring in successful customers
- Do your own research online to create a more customized pitch to engage prospects
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly KPIs

In a similar way to how Slack enables communication and task management in computer-based jobs, YOOBIC’s platform is tailored towards the front-line, deskless workforce. Beyond communication through its news feed and chat features, it also caters for HR and mobile-driven training, as well as task and inventory management.
YOOBIC is one of a number of startups targeting this underserved space, which accounts for around 80% of the global workforce. Though there’s plenty of competition from the likes of Crew and ServiceMax, YOOBIC has grown to operate in almost one hundred countries for some of the world’s biggest brands including Puma, Boots, Mazda, Domino’s, Vans, and Peloton.
With good funding at its back, YOOBIC's intention is to continue its rapid international expansion while adding more industry-specific features to its product stack.
