What the job involves

As NexHealth continues to scale, we’re looking to add a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to our high-performing sales team
In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating pipeline and creating new opportunities for our Account Executives by engaging dental and healthcare practices
You’ll play a critical role in helping providers modernize their patient experience—driving adoption of tools that streamline scheduling, communication, and payments
This role is heavily outbound-focused, with a strong emphasis on cold calling, emailing, and creative prospecting, while also responding quickly to inbound interest
Drive new business pipeline by prospecting into dental and healthcare practices across the U.S
Execute high-volume outbound outreach (calls, emails, and social) to engage decision-makers such as practice owners, office managers, and operations leaders
Qualify inbound leads quickly and effectively, converting interest into booked meetings
Build and manage a strong pipeline within our CRM, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up
Tailor messaging to different personas within a practice, highlighting how NexHealth improves patient experience and operational efficiency
Educate prospective customers on the value of NexHealth’s platform and how it integrates with their existing systems
Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop strategic outreach plans and improve conversion rates
Continuously refine your prospecting strategy through testing, iteration, and feedback from the team

Our take

The lack of integrated medical records is one of the largest obstacles the healthcare industry faces. Clinics must organise appointments and manage both paper and electronic health records, a process which is time-consuming and error-prone.

NexHealth is setting out to change this by building its own data-sharing highway. The platform enables real-time scheduling of healthcare appointments, care-to-patient communications and digital record management. Not only does this help doctors digitise their practices and provide a better patient experience, but it also means developers at other healthcare companies can use NexHealth’s piping (rather than integrate with hundreds of different electronic health records).

In 2022, NexHealth reached a valuation of over $1B, solidifying its status as a Unicorn, and with the support of numerous investors, the company is poised for further expansion. That same year, it opened a new office in Utah (its largest physical presence), marking an exciting new chapter in NexHealth's journey, offering the chance for more groundbreaking work and the expansion of its team.
