What the job involves

This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension
You will work as part of the Accounts Payable Team with responsibility for our Vendors, liaising with business partners and vendors
You will ensure that the vendor accounts are maintained and vendors are paid in a timely manner in accordance with payment terms set contractually
Ensuring invoices received from Vendors are valid
Responsibility for maintenance of Vendors on Business Entities
Working with different accounting software such as Lightening/Salesforce/Business Central/OCR
Responsibility for processing up to 1000 invoices per month both electronically and manually
Working with different currencies (EUR, GBP, USD, CHF, CZK, SEK, NOK)
Monitoring the Aged Creditors Report and completing vendor reconciliation on a monthly basis for our top 10 vendors per spend
Recording of employee business expenses, ensuring validity, approval and processing payment
Maintaining records of invoices and expenses in archiving system
Maintaining accounts payable supplier records
Maintaining records of purchase orders
Preparing reconciliation of Vendor accounts to GL on a monthly basis
Investigating and resolving supplier queries
Assisting with Fixed Asset reconciliation
Posting direct debits, cash and journals at month end
Liaising with business partners and vendors on a daily basis
You will be providing guidance and support to our business partners both internally and externally
You will receive guidance and support from the AP Manager, the Head of AP as well as the rest of the team

euNetworks provides bandwidth infrastructure services to connect finance, wholesale, data, and other industries, developing the necessary infrastructure to form networks through dark fibre, metro wavelengths, colocation and long haul wavelengths. The company currently focuses on developing intercity network connections across 18 major European cities and overseas long-haul connections across 18 countries.

Whilst fibreoptic infrastructure has become commonplace in recent years, such networks focus on domestic networking and thus limit connection speeds between cities, countries, and continents. Through its long-haul bandwidth infrastructural innovations, euNetworks aims to solve this problem and future-proof high-bandwidth networking for the global connectivity of cloud computing and other high-speed networking innovations.
