Senior Software Engineer, MirrorWeb

• Strong commercial experience building backend systems in Go
• Deep experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, ECS, EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, networking, IAM)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform)
• A generalist mindset — comfortable moving across backend services, infrastructure, and tooling
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, early-stage environments where architecture is still evolving

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the backbone of our platform - building and scaling the backend systems and cloud infrastructure that power compliant communications supervision at global scale
• This is a hands-on, high-ownership role

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Go, and manage AWS infrastructure that supports secure, scalable processing of high-volume data
• While the focus is backend and infrastructure, experience with React, Remix, or React Native is a plus - enabling you to contribute across the stack when required
• Participate actively in architectural discussions. Bring fresh ideas, challenge assumptions, and help shape systems that will scale with the business
• Drive scripting and automation across MacOS and Linux environments. Improve internal tooling and reduce operational friction
• Own and enhance GitHub Actions workflows. Implement Infrastructure as Code principles and ensure reliable, repeatable deployments
• Ensure security best practices are baked into infrastructure, services, and deployment workflows - not bolted on later
• Support colleagues through code reviews, pair programming, and open knowledge sharing. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Work closely with Product and Design to ensure technical solutions align with business priorities and customer outcomes
