Backend Engineer, Taktile

• Taktile is a hybrid company with options to work from either our Berlin HQ in Germany or the Iasi Hub in Romania. Taktile will not cover relocation services for this role
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as we operate in a remote environment requiring clear and effective communication
• Strong engineering fundamentals with a passion for simplicity and precision
• Prior industry experience with Python backend. At least one prior work experience is required - this is not an entry-level position
• Experience with databases and AWS or similar cloud providers
• Proficient in RESTful API development and management

• We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join the “Resolve” team tasked with building Case Management—a brand-new feature in our product—and maintaining our critical Entity Layer, a store powering customer entities used across the platform
• Primarily work on backend components written in Python / FastAPI, hosted on an AWS serverless architecture: Build and maintain the new case management system, enhance the entity layer, review pull requests with depth, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
