Role
Who you are
- A Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong Python coding skills for ML/AI and mathematical optimization
- Experience deploying ML models in production environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into elegant solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly
Desirable
- Relevant knowledge in fields such as civil engineering, HVAC, or mechanical engineering is a plus, though not mandatory
What the job involves
- As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Consigli, your focus will be on using tools like machine learning, mathematical optimisation, operations research and generative AI to solve real world engineering problems
- Design, implement, and deploy AI models into production systems
- Build robust frameworks, pipelines, and tools to enable scalable and maintainable solutions
- Collaborate with domain experts and platform teams to integrate AI models into our SaaS platform
- Work with diverse, messy datasets to extract insights and create value
- Drive innovation by staying updated on the latest trends in machine learning, mathematical optimisation, operations research, reinforcement learning, and generative AI
- Contribute to the full ML lifecycle, from data collection and cleaning to model deployment and monitoring
- Work closely with domain experts, engineers, and clients to turn cutting-edge research into functional, scalable, and impactful solutions that reshape an entire industry
