Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CPA is a plus
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or related fields.
- Proven track record of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting in a corporate environment
- Experience partnering with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insights and decision support
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Netsuite) and FP&A software tools (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic finance team
- In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes while partnering with senior leadership to provide actionable insights for business decision-making
- This position requires a highly analytical mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure financial goals and strategic priorities are met
- A key objective for this position is to help lead the implementation of a new forecasting tool for the FP&A team
- Lead the preparation and coordination of the annual budget, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans for the organization. Ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and operational priorities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR, to provide financial insights that drive business performance and enhance operational decision-making
- Develop and present comprehensive financial reporting packages for senior management, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and ad-hoc financial models
- Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts and ensure they reflect the company’s evolving business needs, identifying risks and opportunities that may impact financial performance
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and decision support
- Effectively communicate financial performance, trends, and risks to executive leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in financial matters
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior FP&A team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
- Lead the implementation of a new forecasting system (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, etc)
