Financial Analyst, Earnest

• 0-2+ years of finance/accounting experience
• High proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Financial ERP systems
• Experience working with large data sets to disseminate trend analysis for forecasting / manipulating data to tell a story with supporting evidence
• Ability to lead work initiatives with cross functional coordination with stakeholders
• Ability to disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to details and accuracy
• Highly motivated, quick learner and enthusiastic about their work
• Willingness to travel to the Oakland office monthly to collaborate with other Earnies

Desirable

• The Financial Analyst position will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis
• Contribute in financial forecasting: Support the monthly and annual budgeting process, contribute to financial model updates, and ensure data accuracy
• Support business partnerships: Collaborate with team members to gather data for expense, headcount, and compensation modeling
• Contribute to financial reporting: Aid in the preparation of monthly/quarterly reports, analyze basic variances, and assist with data validation
• Support product profitability analysis: Assist in the creation of product-level reports and contribute to cost allocation processes
• Assist in process improvement and tool implementation: Help with data entry, automation tasks, and learn to use FP&A tools and reporting systems
