Role
Who you are
- 3 plus years of B2B website, SaaS, and/or iPaaS sales management experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Expertise in successfully managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles - from identification, qualification, presentation, and closure
- Experience managing Business Development Reps and building outbound prospecting strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting complex solutions to senior executives
- Strategic thinker and problem solver
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with strong time management skills
Desirable
- eCommerce experience and strong understanding of modern e-commerce software technologies and/or data integration is preferred
- Salesforce CRM, Salesloft, Gong, Seamless.ai (or similar software) experience is preferred
What the job involves
- This role is responsible for leading those who sell TradeCentric solutions to organizations to seamlessly integrate eCommerce applications to organizations’ procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and SAP. This position reports to the VP of Sales
- You will be responsible for ongoing mentoring and development of your sales team, including recruiting, hiring and training
- Develop and implement strategic sales and business development plans that align with the company's growth objectives and market trends
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales to establish sales targets, KPIs, and quotas, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions when necessary
- Lead mentor, and manage a team of sales and business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team to pursue
- Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute coordinated, disciplined campaigns, measuring outcomes and iterating to continuously improve
- Create strategic and technical sales strategies, presentations, and solution demonstrations for prospects
- Working closely with potential clients to understand their business goals, needs, and pain points and use a consultative approach to propose solutions to best fit their needs
- Engaging key decision makers within potential clients to position TradeCentric’s strategic value proposition and quarterback deals to closure
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase our products and expand the company's network
- Sharing specific information with leadership regarding business issues, trends, and industry information to aid in the development of market-specific sales strategies
- Collaborate with the Product team to provide feedback from prospects to aid in the further development of our technical solutions and capabilities, to ensure competitiveness and identify opportunities to differentiate
- Maintain robust and accurate data within our CRM including client information, pipeline stage and progression, win / loss reasons, etc
- Identify inhibitors to the sales process, collaborating across functions to streamline and continuously improve
- Being proactive, flexible, and supportive of all team efforts across TradeCentric
