Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with expertise in GO, Java, or similar languages
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven experience designing and implementing production-grade APIs and services for AI or data-intensive applications
- Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization in distributed systems
- A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions and fostering collaboration
Desirable
- Experience integrating AI/ML systems with backend architectures in a production environment
- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies, such as LLMs, machine learning pipelines, or data engineering workflows
What the job involves
- This role requires solving the challenge of bridging cutting-edge AI systems with Pendo’s backend, enabling all teams to build and deploy high-quality AI-driven features efficiently and effectively
- Design and architect the integration of Pendo's AI infrastructure with backend systems, ensuring seamless accessibility for Pendo’s engineering teams
- Develop scalable, production-grade APIs and services that allow easy consumption of AI features across the platform
- Act as a technical liaison, clearly communicating architectural decisions and integration strategies to engineering teams
