What the job involves

We're looking for a pragmatic software engineer with a passion for Ruby and experience building products using the Ruby on Rails framework
Build products and workflow tools to help Physicians do their jobs more effectively
Advance our Telehealth platform which connects doctors and patients millions of times per month
Build distributed systems that put clinical knowledge, secure messaging, and professional connections at a doctor’s fingertips
Secure, cache, and optimize software systems that can handle millions of operations per day

Our take

Doximity provides an app to connect physicians to one another, so they can stay on top of medical news and in touch with their peers. Establishing itself as the "LinkedIn for Doctors", it has become the largest community of healthcare professionals in the US, with a large majority of doctors, NPs & physician assistants among its verified members.

Though there are other platforms out there connecting physicians, Doximity appears to be regarded as the leader in this space, boasting a large and established presence. Amongst its successes is the fact its "Doximity Dialer" platform has twice been recognized as 'Best in KLAS’ in the Telehealth - Video Conferencing Platforms segment at the KLAS awards.

The company has significantly grown its revenue in recent years, primarily through allowing drugmakers to promote products and services to doctors, and acting as a recruitment tool for medical systems. The company is currently focused on developing its product, increasing its utility through integrations with health record systems and adding AI administrative tools. It is well poised to achieve its ambitious goal of attaining $1 billion in annual revenue by 2028.
