1-3 years experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or as a Business Development Sales Representative (BDR/SDR)
Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying solutions in challenging situations and a proven record of innovative thinking
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Possesses the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Exceptional customer service and client management abilities
Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Strong project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eager for and receptive to feedback
Experience utilizing a CRM is a plus

What the job involves

Our Strategic Account Management Associate will play an integral role in driving the vision for Axios HQ as an AI-powered essential communications tool
Supporting our enterprise and strategic account managers in managing their book of business
Responsible for prospecting and finding new users within HQ accounts
Supporting the Account Managers in launching and expanding customers’ usage of HQ
Scheduling QBR and commercial renewal calls with HQ accounts
Maintaining accurate data in our Hubspot and HQIA systems
Helping keep the team organized and customer projects on track
Providing scheduling support
Assisting customers with inbound issues and run demos

Our take

Axios HQ, originally the software division of the news company, Axios, became an independent entity following Axios's acquisition by Cox Enterprise in 2022. The company offer a platform that applies Axios's "Smart Brevity" writing style to enhance internal communications for organizations. Features include writing templates, machine learning-driven style and phrasing suggestions, and analytics to track engagement.

In December 2024, Axios HQ expanded its capabilities by acquiring Mixing Board,a community of communications, brand, and marketing leaders. This acquisition was an exciting move for the company and aims to enhance Axios HQ's offerings and strengthen its position in the communications industry.
