Role
Who you are
- We’re on the lookout for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who has an interest in working both inbound and outbound leads to help grow our sales pipeline
- You are based in Austin, Texas, and excel in a hybrid work environment, balancing in-office collaboration and remote productivity
- While 1-2 years of BDR experience in the B2B SaaS industry is a plus, we welcome candidates who show potential, drive, and a passion for sales even if they are new to the role
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas, with a solid grasp of qualification frameworks like MEDDICC or BANT. Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms is a big plus, as is proven success running outbound sales strategies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are second nature to you—you know how to build strong relationships and communicate clearly with both clients and team members

What the job involves
- Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you’ll be the front-line connection with prospects, mastering the sales process and qualification and setting our Account Executives up for success
- This role is a hybrid (in-office/remote) position that involves researching, initiating and maintaining relationships, and capitalizing on every opportunity to foster growth
- Inbound Prospecting
- Promptly engage with inbound inquiries to ensure a smooth and efficient intake process for potential ROLLER customers
- As the first point of contact for potential customers, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping their initial experience with ROLLER, creating a positive and lasting impression that elevates ROLLER's value from the very first interaction
- Generate new business leads through inbound opportunities via calls and emails

- Interview with our Director of Business Development
- You'll get to meet with the hiring manager to learn more about the role & ROLLER whilst also talking through your experience in more detail
- Loop Interviews
- This is where you will get to meet our wider ROLLER team to do a 'vibe check' on us to make sure our culture & vibe meet what you are looking for!
- Final Role Play Working Session
- This is where you will get to assemble all you have learned during the interview process and share your plan for your first year at ROLLER
- Offer
