Who you are
- Process-Oriented: You have previously implemented a tool or a process (in a project or previous internship) that was adopted and used by a group
- Communication: You prefer listening to a manager's constraints before proposing a new tool. You can explain the "why" behind a process to a Sales Manager in Hong Kong as clearly as to one in Madrid
- Analytical: You are comfortable turning raw sales data into specific performance indicators that drive decision-making
What the job involves
- Outsight is deploying Spatial AI solutions for international B2B accounts
- Our sales organization currently consists of 5 Sales Managers located in Hong Kong, France, Spain, and the USA. Currently, the Managing Director performs the functions of Sales Director
- Your goal is to transition our sales organization from an informal structure to a scalable department. You will build the "Sales Director" playbook from scratch
- Define the Architecture: Map the interaction and workflow between the Sales Director role and the 5 Sales Managers
- Build the Stack: Leverage the CRM workflows, reporting dashboards, routines, and Deal Desk processes
- Establish Routines: Design the structure for weekly sales meetings and monthly progress reviews
- Track Performance: Move from qualitative updates to quantitative milestones. You will implement a system to track the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closing
- Field Understanding: You will participate in customer meetings alongside our Sales Managers to understand the life of the team and the specificities of the international B2B sales cycle
Our take
Outsight has combined the software assets of its parent company Dibotics with 3D sensor technology to create a LiDAR pre-processor designed to help make smarter, safer vehicles, and add spatial AI to buildings like stores and airports. Importantly, however, Outsight’s business model is focused on providing a simpler plug-and-play LiDAR solution, to close the gap between LiDAR early adopters and the mainstream market.
Helping more companies easily tap into LiDAR’s full situational awareness capabilities in our growing network of interconnected, smart environments is likely to prove a winning strategy for Outsight going forward. And already, the company has proven attractive to international clients across a number of highly lucrative fields including industrial automation, driverless cars, and drones.
Outsight has carved out a niche for itself, attracting a solid client base as the industry embraces new technologies. In a significant development, the company was acquired by Billups, a leading NYC-based OOH managed services agency, in a deal that expanded Billups' global presence to 16 countries. This acquisition strengthens Outsight's industrial edge and cloud application offerings, opening up exciting new opportunities for growth and innovation within the company.
