Who you are
- Experience with Logs, Metrics, IT Operations and Security
- Background in Sales Engineering, Professional Services or Consulting Services
- Play with the product, be prepared to give us feedback
- Experience working with multiple operating systems (proficiency with Linux a must)
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and Regex
- Ability to travel up to 40% mostly across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- You live in Germany
- Fluent speaking and written skills English and German
- Experience working remotely

- As a Solutions Engineer, you'll get to flex your technical chops and storytelling skills by helping customers uncover the full potential of Cribl in real-world environments. With the freedom of remote work and the excitement of solving unique data challenges, every day brings something new—and impactful
- Help customers understand the value of Cribl during the sales process
- Demo the product and answer customer questions during initial sales calls
- Support customers during proof of concept sessions
- Document interesting use cases in blog posts and contribute to our ecosystem developing packs and content
- We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours
Our take
In a bid to simplify big data analytics, Cribl offers a data observability pipeline which allows users to reduce low value data, improve routing and gain more data context on one interface.
As companies now collect more and more data from frequently scattered sources, its useability and reliability comes into question. By offering an observability service, Cribl allows users to maintain the health of their data systems by monitoring, tracking and troubleshooting issues.
Cribl's main challenge will be competing with the likes of Observe and Edge Delta. However, Cribl has raised impressive funds that should accelerate its transition from a limited tool vendor to a fully-fledged observability suite. The company also boasts surpassing $100 million in annual recurring revenue, having grown this from $1 million in less than four years.
