- 1-2+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or a similar role, preferably within ad tech, SaaS, or retail solutions
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outreach and pipeline generation goals
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and qualify leads effectively
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle high volumes of outreach and follow-ups
- A proactive and persistent mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results
- Being located in one of Europe's capital cities
- Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Curious and eager to learn, with a passion for the retail media and e-commerce industry
- Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to working with sales and marketing teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

- As a Business Development Representative at Topsort, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth, connecting with top retailers and marketplaces to spark new partnerships and fuel our sales pipeline
- This is a high-impact, fast-paced role where your drive, creativity, and curiosity will open doors and shape the future of retail media
- Pipeline Growth:
- Drive pipeline growth in both volume and size by identifying and engaging potential clients through strategic outreach
- Develop and execute outbound activities, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking, to connect with prospects
- Qualify and Prepare Opportunities:
- Conduct initial outreach and qualification to identify high-potential clients and assess their needs
- Lead discovery meetings to understand client pain points and align them with Topsort’s solutions
- Collaborate Across Teams:
- Work closely with Account Executives to transition qualified leads seamlessly into the sales cycle
- Partner with the marketing team to align on messaging and campaigns to maximize outreach effectiveness
- Set individual and team performance goals aligned with organizational objectives
- Market and Product Expertise:
- Develop a strong understanding of Topsort’s products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to confidently engage with prospects
- Act as the first point of contact, setting a strong foundation for client relationships
- Leverage market insights and collaborate with teams to craft targeted campaigns and refine solutions to meet customer needs
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM tools, tracking outreach activities, pipeline metrics, and lead quality
- Analyze outreach performance and iterate on strategies to improve effectiveness
Our take
With the likes of Meta, Amazon, and Google hosting the majority of ad campaigns, contemporary strategies can become overly complicated and lacking in owner control. Topsort has created a simple and customisable API through which users can create advertising elements like sponsored listings, banner and video ads, and control how they’re shown to potential customers.
Where the platform stands out is in its transparency and privacy-first approach - delivering a direct replacement of the “cookie” system usually used in sponsored ads. Topsort’s “clean room” is an encrypted technology that has zero-visibility into privacy data, ensuring anonymity for those being analysed.
This exciting new approach to media marketing analysis and campaign planning has turned investors' heads, at a time when data privacy is a hot topic. Topsort has enjoyed an impressive Series A of $20M, which will be used to scale and accelerate its growth.
