Recruiting Coordinator, CesiumAstro

• To conform with the United States Government Space Technology Export Regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., conditional resident, asylee or refugee (protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting or related business administration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and familiarity with ATS systems (Lever preferred)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude, team-oriented, and a passion for recruitment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of integrity and respect for confidentiality

• In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our recruitment team and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process
• This role involves coordinating all aspects of the recruitment process, from scheduling interviews to managing candidate communications
• You will be responsible for managing the pipeline of candidates for a small but growing space technology company
• This is a multifaceted job that requires both excellent organizational skills and the ability to understand and promote the core culture of a startup
• Recruiting activities will include university relations, planning or participation in local events, managing online postings, logistics for CesiumAstro staff and candidates, and front-line screening of candidates
• You will work closely with Talent Acquisition and HR staff to develop and execute hiring plans and projects
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and CesiumAstro staff, ensuring a positive experience for all parties
• Manage job postings on various platforms, including the company website and external job boards. This will include drafting job postings and other recruitment-related materials as well as posting and maintaining job listings on state job boards in alignment with Affirmative Action (AA) and compliance guidelines
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and status updates
• Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback
• Support the onboarding process by conducting pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and coordinating start dates
• Schedule, coordinate, and conduct new hire onboarding
• Coordinate the employee referral bonus program, tracking bonus payment obligations, etc
• Support Applicant Tracking reporting for Affirmative Action Plans and other applicant reporting needs
• Maintain recruitment metrics and distribute to team on a regular basis
• Develop and maintain contacts with educational institutions and external recruiting agencies. Coordinate internship program in partnership with Human Resources
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to improve processes and enhance the candidate experience
