Who you are

If you're someone who loves solving infrastructure challenges, automating everything, and collaborating with developers to ship faster and safer, we’d love to hear from you
Strong experience with Azure cloud infrastructure in a production environment
Solid knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools
Well-versed in the principles of cloud security, with a practical mindset toward secure infrastructure design
Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously with distributed teams
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and share knowledge
5–7+ years of relevant experience in DevOps/SRE or similar roles

What the job involves

At Degreed, we’re on a journey to modernize and scale our platform—and we’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives in Azure environments and brings hands-on experience with Terraform
This is a high-impact role where you’ll help lead key initiatives to improve reliability, performance, and developer experience as we continue migrating toward container-based services
Lead and contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform
Help define and improve our cloud infrastructure on Azure
Work closely with engineering teams to streamline deployments and build robust CI/CD pipelines
Support our shift toward containerization (e.g. Kubernetes)
Collaborate with teams across the business to support growth, scalability, and automation
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support uptime and stability
