Who you are

No matter your background, you have a natural curiosity and desire to root cause strange problems and identify elegant and efficient solutions
Around 2-3 years in API integration domain
Experience working with REST APIs and related tools like PAW, Postman, Kibana, Grafana, Datadog, YAML
Understanding of coding concepts and is familiar with programming languages, such as Java and JavaScript, and tools used across the industry such as GitHub repos and IDEs
Team focused mindset; collaborating directly across teams and openly sharing knowledge with others
Understanding and writing complex SQL queries
You enjoy puzzle-solving, tinkering, testing and experimenting with APIs
Excellent communication skills

What the job involves

As our API Integration Specialist, you will support and help to grow our brand universe. Your goal is to help ensure our brand catalogue is growing and working effectively at all times
Collaborating with the internal Partnership team to support implementation and addressing technical issues in real-time
Comprehensive knowledge of the Runa platform is critical to the success of this role
Enjoying the adventure of in-depth troubleshooting and solving technical problems
Managing the triage and prioritisation of technical issues related to our brands in order to translate complex technical issues into tangible solutions, ensuring a prompt and complete resolution
Providing clear and proactive guidance to onboard brands in a timely manner when the partnership team have ran into problems
Collaborating with the different stakeholders within the business including technical and non-technical teams
Use a wide variety of tools and logs to make informed decisions to quickly and effectively address software partners’ needs
Contributing towards the success of our brands via knowledge-sharing activities such as internal and external documentation, answering technical Q&A, and helping iterate on best practice
Being a key part of urgent incident handling and the subsequent post-mortems of these to identify ways of mitigating operational risk and customer impact

Runa (rebranded from WeGift) has built a platform that offers API access for businesses to automate sending digital rewards.

There are clear similarities to Stripe here: they revolutionised payments to businesses and are now worth $20 billion. Runa is providing quick integrations for developers and simple design, just like Stripe, but do it such that businesses can 'pay' their customers.
