Who you are
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Partner Channel Enablement Manager to join our team
- A strategic mindset and collaborative approach are required to enable pipeline growth by activating programs to enable our partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Cybersecurity, or a relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in partner enablement, channel management, or a similar role within the networking/cybersecurity industry
- Strong understanding of networking and cybersecurity technologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful enablement programs
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders
- Highly organized, with strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
What the job involves
- This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an emerging force in the software-defined communications and security networking industry
- In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enable and empower our channel partners to achieve success with our networking and security solutions
- You will work closely with stakeholders in partner marketing, channel sales and the field system engineering team to develop and execute a cohesive enablement strategy across these organizations
- Reporting to the Global Head of Sales Enablement, this position will lead the programmatic approach to enable growth for channel partners, including service providers (SP), MSP, MSSPs, and VARs
- Develop and implement comprehensive partner enablement programs, including onboarding, certification, and ongoing enablement
- Work closely with channel account managers, and partner marketing to understand the unique needs of different markets and develop and implement scalable enablement programs
- Conduct regular enablement sessions, webinars, and workshops to educate partners on our products, solutions, and best practices
- Monitor and analyze partner performance to identify areas for improvement and provide tailored enablement and resources
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, acting as their main point of contact for enablement-related matters
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure our enablement programs remain relevant and effective
- Gather feedback from partners to continuously improve enablement programs and resources
- Track and report on the effectiveness of enablement initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to leadership
Our take
The secure access service edge (SASE) is composed of a complex group of networking and cloud software tools like software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN), secure web gateways (SWG), and firewall-as-a-service. SASE itself functions to better deliver cybersecurity tech, and as such it’s big business right now. Versa Networks is capitalizing on this, with its in-cloud and on-premise flexible SASE solutions.
While the company faces competition against SASE rivals such as Juniper Networks (where the founders left to kick off Versa Networks), and major players like Cisco and Cloudflare. Startups are pulling in hefty funding, too: Cato Networks is a Unicorn twice over, and Netskope is valued at nearly fourfold that. Add to that the current SASE market is set to grow from its 2021 $3 billion valuation to $6 billion by 2028.
This should come as no surprise. SASE sits at the juncture of the lucrative and high-growth sectors of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and networking, and is expected to have a sweeping addressable market as more businesses pivot onto the cloud. Versa Networks is set to hold its own against well-funded startups and acquisitive enterprises, recently completing a "pre-IPO" fundraise of $120 million, the company has positioned itself to deepen its hold on its slice of the market.
