Who you are
- Graduate or early-career engineer with 0-2 years of professional experience in software development with a passion for Infrastructure, DevOps, Automation
- Strong foundational knowledge of software engineering principles
- Eager to learn and grow in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Demonstrated interest in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Passion for learning new technologies and solving complex technical challenges
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn:
- Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS)
- Databases (PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Messaging systems (Pub/Sub)
- Search technologies (Elasticsearch)
- Comfort with scripting and programming languages (Ruby, Golang, Python)
- Understanding of basic networking and system design concepts
What the job involves
- Support the team in evolving our application architecture, learning about domain-driven design and architectural patterns
- Assist in developing and deploying tools and services that support product engineering teams
- Participate in system refactoring efforts and learn about scalability challenges
- Collaborate with senior engineers to understand infrastructure best practices
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the infrastructure team
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow technically
- Show curiosity about infrastructure and distributed systems
- Be proactive in seeking feedback and guidance
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture
- Develop clean, well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and team knowledge sharing
