Who you are
- We’re looking for a highly versatile, hands-on marketer who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution
- This is a true individual contributor role for someone who can own top- and middle-of-funnel performance end-to-end: planning, building, launching, testing, and optimizing
- This is a fast-paced, results-oriented role for someone who enjoys variety and accountability
- 5+ years of experience in growth, acquisition, or marketing roles (B2B SaaS, marketplaces, or ed-tech experience preferred)
- Proven ability to move seamlessly from strategy to execution
- Strong analytical skills with experience in funnels, A/B testing, and performance dashboards
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills across multiple channels
- Experience with marketing and automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Canva, analytics platforms)
- A scrappy, problem-solving mindset, comfortable wearing many hats and iterating quickly
- Curiosity, energy, and the ability to thrive in a startup or growth-stage environment
What the job involves
- This role goes well beyond “traditional marketing”: you’ll develop a deep understanding of our brand, solutions, customers, and markets, then use that insight to design, execute, and refine growth initiatives across channels
- You’ll test quickly, learn constantly, and iterate relentlessly
- One week you may be scaling SEO through high-intent content and AEO/GEO experimentation; the next you’re building and optimizing global landing pages, fine-tuning email deliverability and CTR, or running SEM and social tests to improve funnel efficiency
- Success in this role comes from curiosity, adaptability, and an obsession with continuous improvement, not from staying in a single lane

- Drive acquisition and growth: Develop and execute strategies to acquire and engage customers
- Launch campaigns and experiments: Design and run go-to-market initiatives, experiments, and campaigns that test, learn, and scale what works
- Enable adoption and onboarding: Build scalable onboarding frameworks and playbooks to activate and retain both customers
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with sales, product, and marketing to align growth strategies with company goals
- Optimize with data: Track and analyze key metrics (CAC, activation, retention, LTV, funnel performance), adjusting strategies to maximize ROI
- Market intelligence: Stay on top of industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
- Champion the brand: Ensure all campaigns and communications reflect ApplyBoard’s value and resonate with diverse global audiences

ApplyBoard's platform connects students with study abroad courses, and guides them through the application process. This level of support has helped ApplyBoard to set itself apart from many of its competitors, and the company has seen impressive growth since its launch. And following an impressive Series D funding round, the company is now valued at around $3.2 billion.
ApplyBoard's main challenge will be to compete with companies offering similar services, such as StudyFree, and other, more traditional tuition companies. Following a leadership switch-up in 2022, ApplyBoard is expanding its services in line with its claims that it took on more students in that year than in the last six combined.
