Role
Who you are
- 3–5 years’ experience in a digital design, web design, or marketing design role
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva
- Experience with WordPress or Webflow; ability to edit or implement HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Analytics, and SEO best practices
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and digital UX
- Experience working with multiple brands or business units a plus
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing your own project pipeline
- Comfort with ambiguity — able to operate effectively without full briefs, clear answers, or fixed processes
- Bias toward action — takes initiative, ships work quickly, and improves through iteration rather than waiting for perfection

What the job involves
- We’re seeking a Creative Digital Designer to help elevate Deciphex’s digital brand presence and enable fast, high-quality creative execution across Diagnexia, Patholytix, Diagnexia Analytix and Deciphex corporate channels
- This is a hands-on role for a multidisciplinary designer who blends visual creativity with technical expertise
- You’ll design, build, and optimise web and campaign assets, ensuring our brand presence is polished, modern, and performance-focused
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage design projects end-to-end, maintain multiple brand identities, and deliver best-in-class digital experiences in a fast-moving environment
- Design, build, and maintain web pages and microsites across Deciphex brands (WordPress, Webflow, or similar CMS)
- Create and update high-converting landing pages integrated with HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, and analytics tools
- Ensure all pages are SEO-optimised, responsive, and visually aligned with brand standards
- Manage basic hosting tasks (redirects, DNS updates, domain setup) and liaise with IT where needed
- Develop reusable templates and design systems to accelerate campaign delivery
- Monitor and report on page performance and recommend improvements to UX and conversion
- Develop digital assets for social, email, and campaign use (graphics, banners, infographics, motion snippets)
- Create and update brochures, event visuals, and branded templates in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva
- Ensure brand consistency across all visuals and business units
- Translate complex technical and scientific concepts into clear, engaging design
- Contribute to creative reviews and help evolve brand aesthetics as we grow internationally
- Work closely with General Marketing, Demand Generation, and Content teams to deliver digital campaigns from concept to execution
- Collaborate with developers or external vendors when needed, ensuring seamless implementation
- Manage priorities across multiple projects with minimal supervision while maintaining exceptional quality
- Bring fresh ideas and continuously improve how design and digital assets are produced across the organisation
Our take
Pathologists are the core of diagnostics, but face increasing pressure as diagnostic complexity increases and the number of pathologists is in decline. This systemic strain means turnaround times for diagnoses are longer, and the chance of diagnostic error is higher. Deciphex is looking to address this with a regulated non-clinical pathology platform.
Deciphex has institutional and headline support, has collaborated with AstraZeneca and Janssen, and participates in a research program with pharmaceutical company Charles River. Reports suggest the platform has seen impressive uptake in the preclinical sector, so in spite of being relatively young this specialist niche is in high demand.
This all means Deciphex is in a strong position to keep expanding out its suite of tools and platforms. Its latest round of funding will support expansion across the US, UK, EU, Canada, and Japan. The company is also looking to enhance its capabilities, strengthen existing partnerships and broaden the type of customer it serves.
